ANALYSIS: Jeremy Lin was expected to sign an Exhibit 10 deal with the Warriors earlier this week but due to a lack of clearance from the CBA (Chinese Basketball Association), Lin will not be able to sign with Golden State. The Warriors were expected to sign and waive Lin so he could play for their G League affiliate, Santa Cruz Warriors. Golden State knew it would be a stretch to receive the letter of clearance from the CBA by the waiver deadline tonight and have since then signed and waived rookie Elija Pemberton, according to Shams Charania. Pemberton will play for the Warriors G League affiliate.
