ANALYSIS: Adam Silver is one of the most respected commissioners in sports because of acts like this. Silver has been on top of every social and political issue this year and has made sure the NBA is quick to respond and implement action. Because of this, the NBA is light years ahead of other sports leagues in what they have been able to accomplish off the court.

Silver understood all the pieces that had to fall into place for the NBA re-start to be successful and will rightfully be giving back to his employees to thank them for their efforts.
