Lakers to work out former All-Star DeMarcus Cousins

The Los Angeles Lakers will work out four-time All-Star DeMarcus Cousins on Friday, that from Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.

Cousins played last season for the Denver Nuggets, averaging 9.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. He also played in five playoff games for the Nuggets where he averaged 10.6 points on 65.5% shooting from the field.

The Lakers are still in need for frontcourt help with Anthony Davis being sidelined for the last 13 games due to foot injury. Davis is starting to ramp up his workouts in hopes for returning to the court in a few weeks.

Right now, the Lakers are the 12th seed in the Western Conference with a 19-22 record.
