Lakers' Malik Monk tests out of health/safety protocols, eligible to return

Lakers guard Malik Monk has tested out of Covid protocols, sources tell @mcten and me. Prior testing led him into protocols on Wednesday. The Lakers play Minnesota on Friday night. Russell Westbrook, Avery Bradley, Dwight Howard and Talen Horton-Tucker remain in protocols.

ANALYSIS: The Lakers will at least get some reinforcement back for Friday's game vs. the T-Wolves as Monk should be eligible to play. Los Angeles has yet to give Monk an official status update for Friday's matchup, but that announcement will likely come in the afternoon leading up to tip-off.
