ANALYSIS: Durant apologized yesterday for the language that he used in a private conversation with actor Michael Rapaport, which was made public after Rapaport shared screenshots of their exchange on social media. Durant has a history of standing up for himself when people call him out, especially on social media, but even he acknowledged yesterday that this is not how he wants people to see him.

In his apology, Durant (hamstring) said he is eager to get back on the court and move past all of this as rumors sparked yesterday that the former MVP could be closing in on a return.
