Emoni Bates announces he's transferring to Eastern Michigan
Memphis transfer Emoni Bates has committed to Eastern Michigan, according to Joe Tipton of On3Sports.
Bates grew up in Ypslanti, Michigan, home of the Eastern Michigan Eagles. Last season, he averaged 9.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 18 games for the Memphis Tigers.
