Derrick Rose misses second straight game due to COVID protocols

Derrick Rose missed Tuesday's matchup against the Spurs due to the leagues health and safety protocols, and despite registering multiple negative COVID tests, he was ultimately ruled out again during Thursday night's matchup with the Detroit Pistons. The Knicks, who are 19-18 and 5th in the Eastern Conference Standings, will likely get Rose back once the season resumes next week after the All-Star Break.

Since being traded to the Knicks, Derrick Rose is averaging 12.5 points, 4.9 assists, and 2.6 rebounds in 24.6 minutes per game for New York.
