Clippers to convert Amir Coffey's contract, waive Semi Ojeleye

According to Andrew Greif of the LA Times, The Clippers are converting Amir Coffey to a standard NBA contract. To make room on the roster Semi Ojeleye is being waived. Xavier Moon will fill Coffey’s place with a new two-way contract.

Coffey is averaging 8.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 62 games for the Clippers this season.

ANALYSIS: Props to Coffey for impressing the Clippers enough to warrant a full-time deal. Everyone loves to hear stories like that. Sadly, this is bad timing for Ojeleye, as not only is he without a team, but he won't be playoff eligible if a playoff team signs him.
