Brooklyn’s Ime Udoka, Milwaukee’s Darvin Ham and Clippers’ Chauncey Billups are among head coaching candidates who Boston hopes to interview for a second time, sources tell ESPN. Celtics’ search continues to focus in the assistant ranks.

ANALYSIS: As openings continue to pop up around the NBA, it appears the Celtics are starting to whittle down their preference for the franchise's next head coach. Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald reports that former Mavs head coach Rick Carlisle is not among the considerations for the opening at this time. He says Boston has "three or four" leaders for the position, so it remains to be seen who else might be in the race.
