Bulls' Coby White injures shoulder, undergoes surgery; out four months

The Bulls say Coby White had surgery on his left shoulder for an injury he sustained while doing “basketball related activities” over the weekend. He will be re-evaluated in four months — meaning right before the start of the regular season, and after training camp has begun.

ANALYSIS: It fortunately seems like Coby White will be ready to go by the season's start date, but he'll be playing catch up to get back into game shape as he's expected to miss training camp.

White had an excellent second year in the league for the Bulls, averaging 15.1 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.1 rebounds in 31.2 minutes per game.
