Update: Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis will not return to Game 6 with a groin injury he reaggravated in the first quarter. Alex Caruso has also been ruled out with a strained right ankle.

Update: Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis (groin) has been cleared to play in Game 6 tonight against the Phoenix Suns, league sources tell Yahoo Sports and NBAonTNT.

ANALYSIS: Marc Stein of The New York Times added that Lakers coach Frank Vogel says Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is available to play tonight's Game 6 against Phoenix, while Anthony Davis, Vogel says, remains a game-time decision depending on his pregame medical evaluation. Stein went on to say that everyone expects Anthony Davis to play, but the doctors' ultimate blessing is still required.

The Lakers will hope to stave off elimination tonight. Tip off is at 10:30 PM ET on TNT.
