Patrick Baldwin Jr. commits to play for father at UW-Milwaukee

Patrick Baldwin Jr., a five-star forward in the high school Class of 2021, has committed to play college basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He chose the school over Duke and Georgetown.

“I will be playing for my dad at Milwaukee,” he told ESPN’s Paul Biancardi. “I had some great options which made me not rush through the process. The thought of playing for my dad was too good to pass up.

“In today’s day and age you see mid-majors having great success, most recently Loyola and Oral Roberts,” he added.

Pat Baldwin Sr. has coached the Panthers since 2017. The team went 10-12 last season and 7-10 in the Horizon League. The Panthers also recently landed USF transfer Samba Kane, according to Jeff Goodman of Stadium.
