Last Friday, the Golden State Warriors took on the Memphis Grizzlies. Things got heated in that game after Draymond Green got into an argument with Zach Edey. With approximately nine minutes left in the third quarter, Ty Jerome went for a drive inside the paint. When Jerome hit his shot and got the whistle, he got in Green's face and yelled, "And one!"

Green didn't appreciate Jerome's antics and immediately pushed him back. Edey, trying to defend Jerome, shoved Green away, nearly sparking a physical altercation. Draymond poked Zach in the eye, then Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg stepped in to back up his veteran.

"Watch out," Lendeborg told Edey as officials were trying to de-escalate the situation. "Watch the f**k out... F**k out of here, boy... You got no hands, n***a. On my momma, you got no hands, n***a."

Despite being a rookie in the NBA, Lendeborg has already proven to be the type of player who will not back down from a heated situation. In his NBA debut against the Los Angeles Lakers, Yaxel was tasked with defending Luka Doncic. While it may have been a huge assignment for him, Yaxel did the best he could to get under the skin of Luka.

The Warriors ended up losing 127-105 against the Lakers after Doncic popped off for 28 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. But many would argue that it was thanks to Lendeborg's antics that the Slovenian star let loose a flurry of buckets, proving that the Warriors' rookie is no pushover.

Zach Edey Had Last Laugh Against Yaxel Lendeborg and Draymond Green

Despite the animosity that transpired last Friday among Draymond Green, Yaxel Lendeborg, and Zach Edey, it was the Memphis Grizzlies who had the last laugh. The Grizzlies beat the Golden State Warriors 111-108.

But it wasn't Edey taking care of business. Instead, it was the combination of Ty Jerome and Grizzlies rookie Cameron Boozer that won the game. Jerome put up 28 points, five assists, and one steal, while Boozer had a double-double outing, adding 25 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, and two steals.

On the Warriors' side, Stephen Curry, Brandin Podziemski, and Lendeborg carried the offensive load. Curry added 24 points, four assists, and two rebounds. Podziemski had 18 points, three assists, and three steals. Meanwhile, Lendeborg also had a double-double outing, adding 18 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, and three steals.

Despite the loss last Friday, Warriors fans already got to see a glimpse of how Lendeborg was capable of putting up big numbers.

After the matchup against the Grizzlies, Yaxel scored 26 points twice and notched his first 30-point game, scoring 31 points against the Denver Nuggets. It'll be interesting to see what else the Warriors rookie can do in the coming games.
