According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, the Philadelphia 76ers have stopped fining Ben Simmons for missing team practices and games.

Shelburne says that per a provision in NBA contracts, players cannot be fined for stepping away from the team to address their mental health. Simmons reportedly met with the team in the past week to tell them he was "not mentally ready" to play in regular season games.
"Right now, everybody's in a good place," Shelburne said.
