Dallas is hopeful Luka Doncic can return Thursday against Milwaukee after missing the last five games due to left ankle soreness.

ANALYSIS: Doncic has missed five consecutive games for the Mavs because of a nagging left ankle injury but the All-Star guard appears to be closing in on a return. If Doncic can't go Thursday vs. the Bucks, his next opportunity to take the court will be Christmas day vs. the Jazz.
