Without further ado, let’s dive into our favorite NBA betting plays for Thursday's slate.
Memphis Grizzlies (-11.5) vs. Indiana Pacers
Even without Ja Morant, the Grizzlies continue to look like one of the most dangerous teams in basketball right now. Desmond Bane’s second-year jump has been awesome to watch, plus the culture put into place by head coach Taylor Jenkins has been absolutely fantastic. In this matchup against the Pacers, there’s no doubt about it that Memphis easily rolls here. Expect a big game from Bane, plus the tanking Pacers to not stay within competitive range. Hammer the Grizzlies as a best bet for Thursday’s slate.
Pick: Grizzlies -11.5
PrizePicks Power Play: Desmond Bane over 22.5 points, Buddy Hield over 19.5 points, Oshae Brissett over 13.5 points, Steven Adams over 10.5 rebounds
Milwaukee Bucks (-9) vs. Washington Wizards
The defending champions are finding a groove at the perfect time, ramping up towards another potential deep postseason run. Against the Wizards, it’s hard to find any real advantage that can be lost on the Bucks' home court. This is another opportunity for Milwaukee to fine tune itself before the playoffs, so bet big on the Bucks blowing out Washington.
Pick: Bucks -9
PrizePicks Power Play: Jrue Holiday over 24.5 points, Kristaps Porzingis over 20.5 points, Brook Lopez over 6 rebounds, Raul Neto over 4.5 assists
Denver Nuggets (-1) vs. Phoenix Suns
What a game this will be tonight in Denver. Chris Paul is officially back in the Suns’ starting lineup after they went 11-4 without him. Now with CP3, Phoenix becomes seemingly unstoppable yet again. Nikola Jokic is carrying this Nuggets team and is on his way toward what should be another MVP award win, but Denver doesn’t match up well against Phoenix. In the underdog role, an easy hammer to the Suns.
Pick: Suns +1
PrizePicks Power Play: Nikola Jokic over 26.5 points, Devin Booker 26.5 points, Deandre Ayton over 9.5 rebounds, Aaron Gordon over 5.5 rebounds
