SGA scores 20+ points in 100 straight games, close in on Wilt’s record

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has now scored 20 or more points in his 100 straight regular season games, scoring 31 points in a win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night, December 22.

The OKC Thunder superstar is only the second player in NBA history to do it, alongside the great Wilt Chamberlain. Wilt has the all-time record with 126 games, which he set in the 1962-1963 season.

The last time Gilgeous-Alexander didn’t score 20 or more points was on October 30, 2024, when he just scored 18 points in a win over the Spurs. It marked the only time in each of the last two seasons that he failed to reach that mark – a testament to his incredible consistency and efficiency for this historic streak.

Next up for SGA is Wilt’s all-time 126 games record, and he will have a chance to do it this season with a lot of games remaining for the Thunder.
