ANALYSIS: Van Gundy lasted just one season at the helm in New Orleans, and after a disappointing 31-41 season, there were reports of players "not vibing" with Van Gundy. Wojnarowski adds that the Pelicans will look at other candidates from last offseason's search such as Ime Udoka, Jacque Vaughn and Jason Kidd.

Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer reports that current Pelicans assistants Teresa Weatherspoon and Fred Vinson are also candidates to replace Van Gundy.
