LeBron James surpasses Michael Jordan for most 30-point games in NBA history

LeBron James has etched his name atop another significant NBA milestone, surpassing Michael Jordan for the most 30-point games in league history. James achieved this feat during the Los Angeles Lakers' 119-102 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

In the game, James scored 30 points, marking the 563rd time he has reached or exceeded the 30-point threshold in a regular-season contest, breaking Jordan's previous record of 562 such games. The historic moment came with an 18-foot jumper with 5:58 remaining in the fourth quarter.

In addition to this scoring milestone, James also moved into fourth place on the NBA's all-time games played list, appearing in his 1,523rd regular-season game, surpassing Dirk Nowitzki.

At 40 years old and in his 22nd NBA season, James continues to perform at an elite level, averaging 24 points, 7.6 rebounds, and nearly 9 assists per game. His longevity and sustained excellence further solidify his legacy as one of the greatest players in basketball history.

The Lakers, currently holding a 20-14 record, have benefited from James's leadership and consistent high-level play. As the season progresses, James's pursuit of excellence and his ability to break long standing records remain a testament to his dedication and impact on the game.
