ANALYSIS: Monroe was signed to a 10-day contract early on Monday due to Minnesota's lack of health players because of COVID. In 25 minutes of action, Monroe put up 11 points and 9 rebounds.

The NBA could easily be looking at close to 600 players suiting up this season with the Omicron variant  ravaging rosters.
