2024 NBA Playoffs Day 33 Recap: Boston extends dominance over Indiana

The Boston Celtics proved to be too much yet again for the Indiana Pacers as they dominated Game 2 on Thursday night of the Eastern Conference Finals on Day 33 of the 2024 NBA Playoffs.

The Celtics only trailed for a moment in the 1st quarter then dominated the rest of the game in a wire-to-wire, dominant victory. The Pacers pulled to as close as nine points but that was the closest they could come all second half.

Making matters worse for Indiana is star point guard Tyrese Haliburton exiting the game in the 3rd quarter due to a left hamstring soreness. Haliburton’s absence was felt as Indiana’s offense wavered.

Jaylen Brown erupted for 40 points in the Celtics’ dominant victory.

Game 3 is an all-important game for Indiana to try and avoid a crucial 0-3 hole as the series shifts back to their home floor.
