Jean Montero is an electric guard who is effective at changing speeds and direction with the ball in his hands. His handles and dribble moves are advanced for his age, and he’s also an excellent passer. Most importantly, Montero is effective as a creator, as he’s able to get to the rim with his high-level speed. He has tremendous potential as a pull-up shooter, but will need to improve his consistency. After playing in Spain for Gran Canaria, Montero is the first NBA product of the newly-formed Overtime Elite program.
