The New York Knicks seem to be enjoying themselves as the new NBA champions. For the first time in 53 years, the Knicks have finally brought home the gold. It was also a fitting ending to their Cinderella story as they redeemed themselves against the San Antonio Spurs after failing to beat them in the 1999 NBA Finals.

But Mikal Bridges' viral victory celebration might be remembered all on its own. Filled with excitement, a very drunk Bridges went on Instagram Live on June 16. He started sharing hilarious team secrets with his followers.

Jalen Brunson quickly realized his teammate was talking too much. The Finals MVP tried to tell his friend to stop the video, but Bridges totally ignored him.

"I texted him and said, 'Get off live,'" Brunson revealed during a recent interview with ESPN. "He sent back, 'NO' in all caps. I mean, I tried. But I just let him do his thing."

One of the most notable and hilarious moments during Bridges' live session was when he confirmed a rumor about Knicks owner James Dolan. Bridges shared with his followers that Dolan put the Knicks players under a strict 10-week ban on participating in any s*xual activities.

Another funny and heartwarming moment was when Bridges praised his teammates while simultaneously roasting their flaws.

Thankfully, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver didn't fine him for his inappropriate behavior. Sources say that the league deemed it harmless, considering that he was intoxicated due to his championship celebration.

The 'Nova Knicks' Love Messing With Each Other

Some people might think Bridges's insults toward Brunson and Josh Hart were mean. But the three Knicks stars have a very close bond. They played college basketball together for the Villanova Wildcats squad from 2015 to 2017.

Given their long history together, the trio now treats each other like brothers. When it comes to brotherhood, jokes and teasing remarks are bound to be thrown at one another.

One recent example would be when Hart made a heartfelt confession during an interview with ESPN. While the Knicks forward expressed how much winning the NBA title with his college teammates meant to him, Brunson hilariously called him out.

"If you ask (Mikal Bridges) and (Jalen Brunson), I was known as like the bully in college," Hart noted.

"He's still the bully, but continue," Brunson hilariously responded.

"I'm not very emotional," Hart continued. "I think it was two days after I sent them a text, and I told them I had to text them because I couldn't say what I had to say in person, because I was kind of starting to tear up a little bit when I was texting them. Basically, just kind of what they meant to me, and I'm so happy and proud we were able to share this moment. That one hit home."

In 2016, Brunson, Bridges, and Hart won their first NCAA championship together. Hart left in 2017 and moved on to the NBA. However, that didn't stop Brunson and Bridges from claiming another championship in 2018.

Fast forward to the present day, the Villanova boys are once again champions, this time as part of the Knicks. Brunson, Bridges, and Hart are the first trio in history to win both an NCAA and an NBA championship as teammates.
