Giannis Antetokounmpo Spotted With Mercedes Team at Monaco GP Amid Heat Trade Rumors

It seems that Giannis Antetokounmpo is enjoying his vacation in Europe. Back in late May, Antetokounmpo was seen in attendance at the Puskás Arena in Budapest for the UEFA Champions League Final. Not only did he attend as a fan, but he also participated in an exhibition match that was streamed by Twitch star Marlon.
It appears that Antetokounmpo's European tour isn't done just yet, as he posted pictures of himself hanging out with the F1 team, Mercedes.
"Grateful heart, peaceful mind 🤎🙏🏽," Antetokounmpo's Instagram post reads.
The 2026 Monaco Grand Prix will take place on Sunday, June 7, at the iconic Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carlo. Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli captured a sensational pole position with a lap of 1:12.051. Antonelli is currently the heavy favorite to win the World Championship for Mercedes.
While Giannis enjoys his time attending a plethora of European sporting events, one thing on many people's minds in the basketball world is his future in the NBA. It seems that Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are ready to part ways, and the Miami Heat are rumored to be his next destination.
According to several reports, the Heat are the current frontrunners to land a deal with Antetokounmpo. Heat president Pat Riley is ready to match Giannis' upcoming salary worth $58.4 million by trading Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Kel'el Ware.
Rumors also indicate that Riley is likely to throw in the 13th pick in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft alongside two first-round picks in future drafts.
NBA Insider Has Big News Regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo and Heat Trade Rumors
While everyone's attention is on the 2026 NBA Finals, some are also anticipating Giannis Antetokounmpo's next career move. After 13 years of loyalty to the Milwaukee Bucks, it seems that both parties are ready to move on from each other.
Rumors suggest that the Miami Heat could be Antetokounmpo's next destination. However, an NBA insider hints that Giannis' transfer to Miami could be a guaranteed scenario.
"Here’s what I will tell you. Much to my alarm, this is not reported from Miami’s side or Milwaukee’s side; this is from around the league," Matt Moore of Action Network said. "People around the league say, ‘Yeah, it sounds like Miami’s closing in on Giannis.'"
It wouldn't be a surprise if that were the case. Antetokounmpo previously expressed interest in suiting up for the Heat. He previously commended the team's lifestyle and culture, identifying that it's something he wants to be a part of.
If Giannis ends up in Miami, it'll be interesting to see what the duo of the Greek Freak and Bam Adebayo would look like. Both players play a similar role, meaning there could be some synergy concerns moving forward.
