Each day that LeBron James remains a free agent is another day for rumors and speculations. There is a growing belief that his destination has been narrowed to a few organizations, and many think the Golden State Warriors are the frontrunners.

However, there are still people in Ohio who are holding out hope that he'll join the Cleveland Cavaliers. For those people, the predictions of one ex-bakery owner are keeping their dreams alive for another James-Cavs reunion.

That former bakery owner, Corbo, didn't just say that James is coming back; he pinpointed a specific day when he'll finally, officially reach a deal to return to Cleveland. He also told anyone who would listen during a call with ESPN Cleveland.

"I talked to my buddy yesterday and I'm not mentioning his name on the radio anymore," Corbo said. "He'll be here July 25th. We're going to go have lunch together, and if he hasn't made a decision yet, I'm gonna call you with him next to me and you can talk to him."

When host Tony Rizzo pointed out that the 25th is still relatively far away, Corbo explained that since James is out enjoying his vacation, he's not in the mood to make a commitment.

Later, he staked the life of his own children in claiming that James is headed back to the Cavaliers.

"I've got twin daughters," Corbo said. "On my two daughters, he will be a Cavalier. The only reason I don't say a hundred percent is 'cause the only thing that's a hundred percent is we're gonna die. Other than that, it's 99 percent."

To be fair to Corbo, he did not say that the 25th is the exact date that James is coming back. Based on his statement, fans can expect James to have already put pen to paper and signed with the Cavaliers on or before that date.

This also isn't the first time that Corbo's called in to say that James is headed to the Cavs.

Earlier, he called in with a claim stating that James and Cavs majority owner Dan Gilbert had a two-hour meeting at a private residence. Before that, he also claimed that Charles Oakley himself said James has a 95 percent chance of returning to Cleveland.

However, there is also a prevalent belief surrounding a James-Stephen Curry pairing on the Golden State Warriors.

Rumors of LeBron James Joining the Golden State Warriors Pick Up Steam

The Golden State Warriors started the pursuit of LeBron James on the lower tier. There were just a few other teams ahead of them believed to offer a better situation for the 41-year-old.

Still, the Warriors didn't seem like they were just going to quietly retire from the arms race. Finally, they are being considered as a real threat to land him this summer.

Before the free agency period, there were reports that Stephen Curry himself would meet with him to discuss playing together in the Bay Area. However, those reports were not enough to solidify Golden State as a top option for James.

What really helped them jump out on top was Draymond Green admitting on his podcast that he pitched the idea of playing in the Bay Area to James.

The two close friends spent a few days together during their vacation. It was during that time that Green sold James on playing for the Warriors.

After Green shared that, Golden State suddenly became the favorite to sign James for his 23rd NBA season.
