Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is expected to miss several weeks after suffering a lower-leg injury during last night's game against the Dallas Mavericks.

Curry exited the game with 2:01 remaining in the third quarter, and tests showed that he "suffered partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane as well as a contusion to his lower leg," according to the Warriors' press release.

Curry was selected as an All-Star starter last week, but now he will miss the 2023 NBA All-Star Game due to this injury. An injury replacement will be selected by NBA commissioner Adam Silver in the coming days.

This season, Curry is averaging 29.4 points, 6.4 assists, 6.3 rebounds, 4.9 threes and a steal, while shooting 49.5% from the field, 42.7% from three-point range and 92.2% from the free-throw line.

The Warriors are 27-26, which is the seventh-best record in the Western Conference. 

Golden State currently has the NBA's 15th-best offense (scoring 111.7 points per 100 possessions) and 15th-best defense (allowing 111.4 points per 100 possessions).
