According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, there is confidence that Bulls guard Lonzo Ball's will be about to return this season following left knee surgery on Wednesday that doctors believe addressed the issue. Ball is expected to miss at least a few months.

Ball missed the final two seasons of the 2021-22 season as he dealt with this knee injury. There was hope that he would be recovered and ready to play to start the upcoming season but he continued to have pain which required a second surgery.
