Pacers to waive Tristan Thompson, will sign with Bulls

The Indiana Pacers will waive center Tristan Thompson, coach Rick Carlisle says. Thompson will sign a new deal with the Chicago Bulls after he clears waivers.

ANALYSIS: The veteran big man was included in the deal that sent Haliburton and Hield to Indiana and will now be waived as the Pacers are clearly in a rebuilding mode and Thompson could provide value for a contender.
