Oak Hill Academy coach Steve Smith announced his retirement effectve July 1, 2022.

Oak Hill Academy is among the most prestigious high school basketball programs in the U.S., producing such players as Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony. In his 37 years at Oak Hill, Smith was named National Coach of the Year four times and his teams won nine national championships.
