The Pacers are expected to keep Lance Stephenson for the rest of the season, league sources say, thanks to his very strong play in this third Indiana stint that has won admiration from Pacers coach Rick Carlisle.

ANALYSIS: Stephenson has been a revelation for Indiana as a veteran castoff returning to his former team. Yesterday he logged a career-high 14 assists to go with 16 points in a win over the Jazz. In his return, Stephenson scored 30 points for the Pacers. This is now his third stint with the franchise after starting his career there in 2010.
