Warriors center Marquese Chriss has suffered a broken right leg (fibula) and will miss remainder of the season, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

ANALYSIS: This is a terrible break for Chriss, who at 23 years old still has plenty of career ahead of him. Last season with the Warriors, he put up career-best numbers with the team and improved his efficiency as an offensive player, while maintaining an impact on the glass and as a shot blocker. The unfortunate injury will likely open up more time for No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman, Kevon Looney and Alen Smailagac.
