ANALYSIS: For the
first time in his nine-year career Tristan Thompson will depart
Cleveland as a free agent. After trading away Enes Kanter and
losing Gordon Hayward in free agency, signing Thompson will give
the C's a veteran presence down low. Thompson continues to be
effective as a big man in the league and is coming off his
second-straight season averaging a double-double.
The deal is two-years worth $19M, reports The Athletic.
