The Miami Heat are planning to sign free agent center Dewayne Dedmon.

ANALYSIS: Dedmon has not played in 2020-21 after suiting up for the Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks last season. The 31-year-old is an intriguing addition who can protect the rim and space the floor as a seven-foot center. His best seasons came in Atlanta between 2017 and 2019, when Dedmon reached double-digit scoring per game while shooting above 35 percent from deep in both seasons.
