The New York Knicks are expected to hire former Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas as a consultant, league sources say.

ANALYSIS: Rosas spent just over two seasons with the Timberwolves before he was fired this past September amid allegations of a toxic work culture and inappropriate relationship with a colleague. The 43-year-old spent several years in the Houston Rockets' front office as well before joining Minnesota. The Knicks are 24-31 this season and have lost four consecutive games.
