Redick was candid in the video, saying that last season forced him to "come face-to-face with my own athletic mortality," and he spent 2020-21 with the New Orleans Pelicans before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
The 37-year-old enjoyed a 15-year NBA career after being drafted No. 11 overall in 2006 out of Duke. Redick averaged 12.8 points per game while making 41.5% of his threes, developing a reputation as one of the best sharpshooters in basketball. He is currently 15th all-time in made three-pointers and tied for 17th in career three-point percentage.
