The Utah Jazz are hiring Danny Ainge as alternate governor and CEO, sources tell ESPN. Ainge will oversee basketball and Justin Zanik will remain GM.

ANALYSIS: Ainge was most recently the president of basketball operations for the Celtics, where he led the team to a title in 2007-08. He stepped down from his position this past summer. The Jazz also moved on from Dennis Lindsey this offseason. Ainge will look to manage a team that is 19-7 and in the thick of the Western Conference's top tier.
