ANALYSIS: Montrezl Harrell was a less publicized fallout of a confused Lakers center depth chart, averaging his least amount of points (13) since 2018 and finding himself benched at times near the end of the season.

After winning sixth man of the year in 2020, Harrell has struggled in two straight postseasons due to his defensive ineptitude.

On a rebuilding Wizards team, Harrell has a chance to find his footing in the league again as the focal point of a bench unit.
