Zach LaVine lands in Team USA health and safety protocols

USA Basketball announced that Zach LaVine has been placed in health and safety protocols and will not travel with Team USA to Tokyo today. Per the statement, LaVine hopes to join the team later this week.

Team USA has dealt with a number of health and safety-related absences, including Jerami Grant. Bradley Beal was removed from the roster after being placed in health and safety protocols and will not be playing in the Olympics.
