Tyler Herro agrees to four-year, $130 million extension with Heat

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro – the NBA’s reigning Sixth Man of the Year – has agreed on a four-year, $130 million contract extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

ANALYSIS: Herro has done his part in helping the Miami Heat reach multiple Conference Finals appearances in the last three years, while also helping them make their first NBA Finals since 2014.

While $130 million is a steep number for a sixth man, Miami clearly believes in Herro’s long-term potential. Keep in mind that with the cap rising in the coming years, this contract may not be as expensive as it initially looks.
