Tristan Thompson: 'I don't need no f***ing coach to inspire me'
Following the Sacramento Kings' 107-97 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, veteran big man Tristan Thompson went off on a rant about player motivation.
"No man in this world should rely on another man to inspire them... I don't need no f***ing coach to inspire me. Never that. Never have, never will. The day I need a coach to inspire me is the day I'm f***ing retiring... This is not no freaking 'Glory Road' sh**."

ANALYSIS: It's not surprising to see the veteran who's made a career out of hustling on defense and grabbing rebounds speak loudly about how he doesn't need extra motivation.
The Kings are just 6-9, but Thompson maintains that the team is still giving their all every night despite their disappointing results.
Luke Walton is nearing the hot seat, but Thompson made it clear that it is not on the coach to motivate the team.
