ANALYSIS: The Pacers have not moved on from first-year coach Nate Bjorkgren, who led Indiana to a 34-38 record and a split in the NBA Play-In tournament. Bjorkgren was the subject of reports surrounding communication issues in the locker room, and president of basketball operations Kevin Pritchard was vague about the future back in May. It remains to be seen if the Pacers will stick with Bjorkgren or opt for a different direction.
Stotts recently parted ways with the Portland Trail Blazers after the team fell in the first round of the playoffs to the Denver Nuggets.
