Teams with championship aspirations are routinely calling Detroit about Jerami Grant’s services, sources tell The Athletic.

ANALYSIS: Grant has been out for nearly a month due to a thumb injury with no clear timetable for his return. The 27-year-old emerged as a leading option in his first season with the Pistons last year after years as a solid two-way player in Denver. Grant was averaging 20.1 points and 4.8 rebounds per game this season prior to his injury.

Additionally, Edwards floated a hypothetical deal the Pistons could make with the Chicago Bulls that involved getting back Patrick Williams. Edwards did report that the Pistons were initially high on Williams back in 2020 before he was taken fourth overall in the NBA Draft.
