ANALYSIS: According to Berman, "Team USA’s brain trust felt it needed more role players on the squad" and did not look to add the All-NBA forward. When Bradley Beal and Kevin Love left the roster, the organization instead opted to add JaVale McGee and Keldon Johnson.
