Suns' Kevin Durant expected to miss 2-3 weeks with sprained ankle

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant is expected to miss two-to-three weeks as he recovers from a sprained left ankle, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Durant hurt his ankle during pregame warm-ups prior to Wednesday's Suns-Thunder game, when he slipped while going up for a lay-up.

Last night, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reported that Durant was wearing a boot after the game.

Durant has appeared in three games with the Suns since the team acquired him in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets, and he has averaged 26.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 threes and 1.3 blocks while shooting 69.0% from the field, 53.8% from three-point range and 88.2% from the free-throw line.

The Suns have yet to lose a game with Durant in their lineup.

Phoenix is currently 37-29, which is the fourth-best record in the Western Conference.
