Spurs trading Thad Young to Raptors in trade for Goran Dragic

The Raptors are trading Dragic and protected 2022 first-round picks to the Spurs for Thad Young, Drew Eubanks and a 2022 second-round pick via Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Pick is protected 1-14 in 2022; 1-13 in 2023 and would turn into two seconds beyond that.

ANALYSIS: Wojnarowski adds that the Spurs are expected to buy out Dragic once the trade is complete, with the Bulls, Bucks, Clippers and Mavericks among interested teams. Dragic played just five games for Toronto and is on an expiring $19.4 million contract. Young had also been relegated to a reserve role in San Antonio, averaging a career-low 14.2 minutes per game off the bench.
