Shams: Danilo Gallinari's ACL intact, will get an MRI on Sunday

Initial exams on Celtics forward Danilo Gallinari’s left knee show that the ACL is stable, full tests to come with an MRI on Sunday, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

This is welcome news to the Celtics since there were initial fears from Italy's coach Gianmarco Pozzezzo that he had in fact torn the ACL, according to Cesare Melanti.

This does not mean Gallinari is out of the woods, but it at least means that he won't miss the entire 2022-23 season like he probably would have had he torn his ACL.
