ANALYSIS: After being a key cog for Houston in the final years of the James Harden era, House has taken a significant step back in playing time allowing for younger players to log heavy minute workloads. So far this season, House is averaging 4.8 points in 14.6 minutes per game.

In a new situation, House would provide a contender much-needed floor-spacing acument and defensive versatility. During his four seasons in Houston, House shot 36.9% on threes.

Expect many teams to inquire about the 28-year-old wing.

Tim MacMahon of ESPN added the, "Rockets will use open roster spot to convert Garrison Mathews from a two-way deal to a 4-year contract worth more than $8 million." In Houston's last 11 games where they are 7-4, Mathews has averaged 14.5 points per game.
