ANALYSIS: Walker will be a major upgrade at point guard for New York. The Thunder originally acquired him from the Celtics earlier this offseason, along with a No. 16 draft pick they exchanged for two future firsts. Walker averaged 19.3 points and 4.9 assists per game with Boston in 2020-21, and was on the books for $74 million over the next two seasons before the buyout.

According to Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer, the Knicks are looking to sign Walker to a contract worth approximately $8 million per year.
