Seven NBA franchises to allow reduced crowds at home games

The NBA season will begin next week with seven of its 30 NBA teams allowing reduced crowds inside: Cleveland, Houston, Memphis, New Orleans, Orlando, Toronto (located in Tampa) and Utah.

ANALYSIS: As the COVID-19 pandemic grows more devastating across the country, many of the NBA's franchises have decided not to allow fans in arenas. Of the seven teams allowing reduced capacity, five are in southernmost NBA divisions, with the relocated Raptors also playing in Tampa Bay.
