Spoelstra confirms Adebayo will play Friday

Update: Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said Thursday that star big man Bam Adebayo is good to go for Friday's potential closeout Game 5 against the Boston Celtics.

Spoelstra said Adebayo didn't undergo additional testing, just put a lot of ice on it.

"It's a little bit of everything," the coach said when asked if the injury was to his wrist/shoulder/arm. "This is a physical series. He'll be ready to go tomorrow."

ANALYSIS: Adebayo has been on a tear in these playoffs for Miami, averaging 17.7 points, 11.4 rebounds and almost 5.0 assists per game. The Heat cannot afford to lose Adebayo for even one game, as Miami knows how much better Bam makes them.

Adebayo and the Heat will look to advance to the NBA Finals with a Game 5 victory on Friday.
